QB ACADEMIC INSTRUCTOR (Substitute)

Description:

 Position is in MINOT, NORTH DAKOTA

GENERAL FUNCTIONS:

Functions as an Academic Instructor in a classroom setting, providing instruction in skills necessary to master academic competencies.  Provides instruction, administers tests, evaluates progress in reading, writing, social studies, science and mathematics understanding and proficiency.  Provides remedial materials and instruction when required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor Degree in Education and two years of teaching experience is required, preferably at

the secondary level.

NOTE:                         Concentration in Secondary or Adult Education preferred.

Special emphasis in Science, Math or English preferred.

                                         Advanced degree highly desirable.

                                         Experience with at risk or culturally deprived youth is highly preferred.

Licenses or Certificates:

A valid Regular Driver License is required.

 A State Teacher Certificate is required.
