QB Work-Based Learning Coordinator- Fargo, ND

Description:

Develops Work-Based Learning sites, in the Red River Valley, designed to provide hands-on training that supports Career Technical Training and placement objectives that will lead to permanent employment upon exiting the program. Works hand-in-hand with Outreach staff in the Red River Valley to distribute recruitment information and to promote Job Corps.

Requires occasional overnights and travel throughout the week.

Interviews will be held in Minot, ND

Duties:

1. Develop partnerships with public and private employers to secure off-Center training sites, internships and employment opportunities for student employees.
2. Develops and finalizes written agreements for off-Center training sites and internships as prescribed by the Job Corps Policy and Requireents Handbook (PRH).
3. Works in conjunction with the Center Safety Officer to ensure all training sites meet OSHA, DOL and PRH requirements for safety compliance.
4. Evaluated student progress while participating in off-Center training sites through the development, tracking and reporting of evaluation contents to Team Managers, career Transition Specialists and other identified staff. Conducts evaluation of Student progress (ESP_ Panels as students complete each component of Work-Based Learning.
5. Classroom instruction and curriculum development
6. Ability to interpret data and analyze its use with educational programs

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, marketing, Industrial or Vocational Education, Counseling or other related degree (compatibility to be determined by the Corporation).

                                  OR

An Associate Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial or Vocational Education, Counseling or other related degree (compatibility to be determined by Corporation), plus 2 years of related experience.

Must have valid drivers license and current proof of automobile insurance. Will be required to drive.

MUST have a clean driving record!
